See You in September

After much thought and consideration I’ve decided to take a summer break from my blog. It’s amazing how difficult it was to make the decision and then write this post.

These past 6 months, I have had the pleasure of spending most of my days with my 3-year old grandson. (You remember him, Mr Exuberance. The photo below was taken on one of our exciting trips to the supermarket.) He’ll be heading off to pre-school in the fall and our time together will be over all too soon.

Putting my blog and memoir on the back burner will allow me to focus my energy on the joys of grand-parenting. (sliding down the slide at the park, playing hide ‘n seek, digging up worms, chasing waves, then snuggling together down with a good read)

I don’t want to miss out on my favorite posts from the blogisphere so while I’m relaxing at the beach I’ll spend some time reading and commenting on the blogs I am currently following.
