If one flap of a butterfly’s wings has the potential to start a hurricane across the world, imagine what a smile, given to a family member, friend, co-worker, or stranger can accomplish. Your smile can change a person’s entire outlook, not just on the day that lies ahead, but their entire life. Your smile doesn’t just affect the initial recipient. It affects everyone that person encounters and in turn everyone they meet. Your smile can change the world.
A smile also has a profound effect on the giver. Smiling makes you happy. It feels good. It refreshes. Smiling lifts your spirit. It heals from within.
If you’ve been in a funk lately, as I have, smile at yourself. Even a forced smile will make you happy. Remember when your mom used to try and make you smile when you were hurt?
Try it. Give yourself a smile. There ya go. Now, didn’t that feel great!!
Aha!!! Caught cha, you smiled!
Here are some smiles I think you’ll enjoy
